Aggregating resin for gravel
Aggregating resin for gravel is a water-based decorative binder, non-toxic and safe to use.
These systems are used to lock aggregates in place, mainly for decorative paving in outdoor areas such as gardens, pathways, or terraces. When the resin is combined with the aggregates, it creates a continuous surface where the aggregates remain visible but firmly fixed.
Aggregates should be washed and dried before mixing with the resin. There are two main methods for using the resin:
Mixing method:
This involves mixing the resin directly with the aggregates before laying. Each piece is coated with the binder. After mixing, the mixture is spread, leveled, and placed in the desired area, properly bordered (approximately 2 cm thick) on a cement base. This method is used to create decorative surfaces suitable for occasional pedestrian traffic. One 5-liter container covers about 6 m² at a thickness of 2 cm.
Surface application via spray:
In this method, the resin is applied directly over the already laid aggregates by spraying. The product penetrates between the aggregates and binds them together once dry. This method is simpler and faster, ideal for stabilizing existing surfaces. It is used to create decorative, non-walkable surfaces. One 5-liter container covers about 12 m².
